I Know What the Problem Is!

As we move through the process of change, the first step is Identifying the PROBLEM. Something made me want to bring about a change. It might have been a jolt of reality that made me face the issue (laying on the bed to zip my jeans and then not being able to breathe when I try to bend over and tie my shoes has a way of jolting me!)  or it might have been a subconscious sense that I am just not taking care of myself the way I should. I am facing a 35 (!!) year class reunion this summer. I want to get back into my favorite pair of jeans. I am planning a trip to visit my grandchildren. All things that make me want to look and feel better about myself. I am ready to take action.

But, I first need to identify the problem.

NOTE: For some people it's difficult to do this. You may not really be over eating and you might be engaged in fairly regular activity. Yet you struggle to be the 'ideal' (ie: doctor recommended) weight. In this case identifying the cause of the problem may very well be related to metabolism. And we will look at how to deal effectively with metabolism as we go along.

So, Step One:
1. What issue has you seeking a solution?

2. What specific habits have contributed to these problems?

Remember:  anything important in our lives is going to require effort and discipline. the price you pay for good health is a bargain compared to the price you pay for poor health.
