Keep Your Bags Packed

IF you ever declare that you want to live your life for Jesus, you might want to get your bags packed. You just never know where he may call you to serve....

Our good buddy Mike, who went with us to Macedonia, is leaving this week to Pastor a little church in Great Falls Montana. It is a Baptist Indian church that reaches out to the Blackfoot people. Mike helped the current pastor build this church. (You can catch a bit of Mike's testimony on the link)

The Pastor and his wife need to take a medical leave of absence for some time  (6 mths or more) and they asked Mike to come and pastor while they are gone. Mike is not a pastor. Mike is just like you and me.... a sinner saved by grace... and willing to serve the Lord however HE see's fit. So, Mike is going, taking his 10 year old daughter Carissa, with him.  He took the Dream Realization School training and said a lot of his transformation took place because of this. He said before dream school he would have never been able to get up in front of a group of people and speak. and look now-- he will be pastoring this little church!

Please keep Mike is your prayers if you would. He has a huge heart for people and for the Lord. We saw so much of his character while in Macedonia and were impressed with what we saw. Hearing some of his story, from before he knew the Lord, makes where he is going and what he is going to do that much more impressive. But one thing is clear: God has called him because he is the right person for this job.

be ready when God calls you...
