Suitcases unpacked and put back in storage waiting for the next adventure
laundry mounds piled high, how did we generate so much in just 3 days?
kitchen whipped back into shape, awaiting tomorrows turkey-fest.
a happy cat tucked into the chair beside me, purring contentedly at my return
fire crackling, dust bunnies settling, lists of things to do in preparation for tomorrows holiday.
turkey, pumpkin pie, all the trimmings
family will gather, small and intimate
and we will take time to pause... and reflect...
on all that we have, all that God has given us.
thankful in so many ways, blessed beyond measure.
