Despite the howling wind that beat at the trailer all night long, threatening to rip off the awning and cast us into the ocean, despite the thunderous rain that added to the beating, despite a chilly- I can- see-my-breath- temperature in the trailer at times, we were together. I am thankful beyond words for the gift I have been given.
