How many of you remember your first date? I mean, first date with your life partner. The date that marks the beginning of "us"
I can't help it; I'm a total romantic at heart. And my sweetie is Mr. Sentimental. Yah, I know, we're sappy. But we're happy!
So... 17 years ago... first day of Spring. On a Sunday like today. We met up at Dodson's IGA~~ Where friends meet friends, you know. I had asked him out-- after dropping hints that he could ask me and not getting anywhere..... We went to the movies (Schindler's List) and dinner (Black Angus). And to the lake.... for some quality talking of course! ;)
It still makes me smile. Who am I kidding? It makes me GIGGLE!!!
So, happy date-a-versary babe! We've had a LOT of fun together and I know there is still more to come.
