We are hard pressed on every side but not crushed, perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed.

I am grieving. I am reminded of the passage of scripture where Jesus stood on the hill overlooking the city and wept; "Oh Jerusalem, how I have longed to gather you under my wings as a hen gathers her chicks but you have rejected me." And I am reminded that I do not grieve alone.
