By His Mighty Power

In Genesis 18. 14 the Lord asks Abraham, "Is anything too hard for the Lord?"
I found the perfect answer to this in Ephesians 3:20. By His mighty power at work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope.

Ephesians 3:14-20 is one of my favorite passages of scripture. (I have a lot of favorites but this is close to the top of my list) And out of that passage shines that one verse that gives me hope and courage in the midst of any challenge . Is anything to hard for the Lord? The short answer is a resounding NO!

This morning as I was meditating on this passage these are the thoughts that surfaced...
from verse 18: may you have the power to understand... how wide, how long, how high and how deep His love really is.

How wide?
As far as the east is from the west, wide enough to cover us all.

How long?
long enough to last into eternity.

How high?
higher than the heavens! High enough to include our moments of greatest joy and triumphs!

How deep?
deeper than the deepest ocean, deep enough to sustain us through our most overwhelming discouragements.

God's love is SO GREAT we can never understand it yet, we should cry out, with all that is within us, to experience it none the less.
