No Internet???

What kind of cruel vacation joke it that? 

Tall Timber is secluded. We do not get phone service, including cell's here, just a ham radio for emergencies. But in the last couple of years internet was brought in!! And via the satellite system there is limited cell coverage-- for year round staff use only. It does help keep the pristine wilderness effect in place and helps kids-- people-- really 'unplug' when they come to camp.

We lost power at camp Monday night for about 4 hours and even thought it came back on, the internet was out till today. Meanwhile I have been blogging offline and collecting pictures. This morning I probably exhausted my internet connection trying to upload everything and as a result I can't get my pictures to come with my verbage. sigh. well, since this is our last day here, I will have to wait and post the whole she-bang when we get home.
